Vinyl Pressing!!!!

Got a chance to see the end of the line for vinyl music reproduction. Went to visit Viryl Technologies, a vinyl record press manufacturing company that also do some short run pressing. Alex DesRoches, nephew of my great old friend Dave Rave of The Shakers and Teenage Head fame gave the tour to myself, Dave Misener and Dave Dysart of HHB/Long & McQuade and my colleague Darcy Ataman of Make Music Matter. So now, after 30+ years, I’ve finally seen the process from start to finish. Darcy even got to press a couple of 7"s. I think they like the free labour.
