Such a great autumn in Toronto. Filled with work and great personal time. Continued work with Leahy. There’s something special in what we are doing with this band and they are reinventing themselves for the new world with powerful tracks and great performances. The material is both Classic and Modern without pandering to trends that would easily date the music. It’s all about heart and soul with this band, and they wear them on their sleeves.

Made a great record with New York based Sludge Metal band King’s Destroy at the end of the year. We worked at two great studios. My old friend Mike Birnbaum hosted us at Applehead Studios for the tracking. Overdubs were done at Russel Street Recording with Alex Lipsen. All was going well until Carl flew my drone into a tree….
